So Fong
1937

A Sparkman & Stephens classic gaff rigged schooner built in Hong Kong in 1937 with a unique oriental flavor. Winner of the 2006 Voiles de St Tropez Rolex regatta.

She combines genuine racing character together with a “comfort for cruising” design, which has enabled her to travel around the world on several occasions during her more than 70 years of active life. Her colorful history includes serving as a US Navy coastguard vessel during World War II and being held hostage for ten years by the Vietnamese government during the Cold War years.

So Fong is crewed by three to four people, depending on the characteristics, needs and wishes of the group.

Her dinghy –Muffin– is a small wooden classic, which can be operated by sailing, rowing or motoring.

So Fong can sleep up to seven guests. She has a very spacious main aft cabin, with two double berths and an en-suite head with a small bath. The starboard cabin is ample and has two berths.
